Natural stone enjoys a growing popularity in the design of private houses.
We advise to only use silicone sealants which are suitable for use with natural stone – like our OTTOSEAL® S 70 – to avoid ugly edge zone soiling.

Start with backfilling the hollow space in the joint with the correctly sized OTTOCORD back-up foam rod.
Now clean and pre-treat the flanks of the joint with OTTO Cleanprimer 1101 using the cloth.
Apply the silicone sealant OTTOSEAL® S 70 - which is compatible for use with natural stone - evenly to the joint.
To smooth it off first spray OTTO marbel silicone smoothing agent on the joint.
Then, with even pressure, drag a suitable smoothing tool along the joint and wipe off the excess sealant in a separate cup for disposal. Treat the rest of the expansion- and connecting joints the same way.
