In recent years, the efficiency in the production of photovoltaic modules has continuously increased. At the same time, the quality of the modules has improved. Elastic RTV-1 and RTV-2 silicone adhesives have made a significant contribution to this: the adhesives in bonding the module frame and the elastic, fast-curing RTV-2 potting compounds when potting the junction boxes.

Thanks to the perfect adjustment of the viscosity of our potting compounds to the shapes of junction boxes, these can be filled without any bubbles, avoiding cavities. A high elasticity of the potting compounds also reduces the mechanical strain on the interior and supports a long-term, failure-free operation of junction boxes.
Solar thermal systems are exposed to heat and cold, sun and rain, storms and hail as well as UV radiation. This places high demands on all of the product components of the solar collectors.
