SUSTAINABILITY AT OTTO

Complying with human rights and environmental due diligence is very important to us at OTTO. In future, we will combine all of our sustainability efforts under the three pillars of “Processes”, “Business” and “Environment” of the OTTO sustainability strategy. In this way, we are creating a uniform and transparent basis and guide for how OTTO handles the issue of sustainability now and in future, what goals we are setting for ourselves, and what measures we are taking to achieve these goals.

EcoVadis assesses our sustainability practices 

EcoVadis is the global standard for sustainability ratings and assesses companies against 21 sustainability criteria in four core areas: Environment, Labour and Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Sourcing. With over  85.000 companies rated worldwide, we are proud to have achieved a silver medal. 

The EcoVadis sustainability ratings are based on international sustainability standards such as the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, the conventions of the International Labour Organisation (ILO), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the ISO 26000 standard. The ratings provide an evidence-based analysis of performance and an actionable roadmap for continuous improvement.  

The OTTO Sustainability Report

While the EcoVadis assessment examines our sustainability activities comprehensively, our sustainability report provides a deeper insight into the concrete measures and goals we pursue. As an annual status update, we present OTTO's most important sustainability achievements in a transparent, open and honest manner.
