Quality for 140 years: In 1881, Hermann Otto founded a company in Berlin to manufacture window putty. Since the early 1960s, we have been developing and producing silicone sealants. Adhesives based on silicone, polyurethane, silane-terminated polymers (hybrid) as well as acrylates complete the product range.

As a medium-sized company, we are one of the leading European manufacturers of high-quality sealants & adhesives. Our approximately 480 employees know us as a socially committed & reliable employer. Approximately 430 employees work at the Fridolfing location in Upper Bavaria, while about 50 colleagues work in the field. We take care of our customers in Germany, Austria, England, France, Belgium and the Netherlands with our own field service. Independent partner companies sell our products in many other countries within and outside of Europe. With our sophisticated logistics, we ensure a smooth order processing and short delivery times.

For new developments, we maintain a continuous dialogue with our customers. In addition to technical standards and norms, the greatest possible environment compatibility of products is also a requirement. OTTO is a member of various associations, such as the INDUSTRIEVERBAND DICHTSTOFFE E.V. (Industrial association for sealants, registered society) (IVD) and the INDUSTRIEVERBAND KLEBSTOFFE E.V. (Industrial association for adhesives, registered society) (IVK).
