What Does EcoVadis Evaluate?
EcoVadis is the global standard for sustainability ratings and evaluates companies based on 21 sustainability criteria across four core areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. Since 2023, we have undergone the EcoVadis rating annually: In 2023 and 2024, we earned the Silver medal each year, followed by the Gold medal in 2025. We are therefore very proud to have earned the Gold medal again in 2026. This places us among the top 5% of all industries out of more than 150,000 companies assessed by EcoVadis worldwide.
The EcoVadis sustainability ratings are based on international sustainability standards such as the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, the conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards, and the ISO 26000 standard. The ratings provide an evidence-based analysis of performance and an actionable roadmap for continuous improvement.
