Of course we at OTTO have the accessories you need for the OTTOPUR PU foams. Different guns are needed to work with PU foams – discover our processed of applicator gun and hand-operated guns to perfectly apply PU foams. But when it comes to cleaning or removing PU foams, our OTTO cleaning wipes and the OTTOPUR Cleaner are the accessories of choice.

Almost all of our OTTOPUR PU foams impress with the GEV seal EMICODE® EC1 Plus. The products are thus considered to be “very low-emission” and offer the greatest possible safety from indoor air pollution and are very environmentally friendly.
A PU foam can that is not empty can remain screwed onto the applicator gun. The gun’s applicator valve must be
completely closed so that the PU foam does not harden and cannot be reused
later.
PU foam residue on the gun or other surfaces can be removed by using OTTO cleaning
wipes.
2-component PU foams do not require additional moisture to cure, as this is already contained in one of the
components. The PU foam already begins to react when the two components are mixed,
which is why the activated can must be emptied quickly (OTTOPUR OP 920) or the static mixer must be removed immediately after
processing (OTTOPUR Turbo).
Different OTTOPUR PU foams can be used when joining well shaft rings too. It should be noted here that cured PU foam cannot be cut, as otherwise it loses its watertightness and thus its functionality.
These OTTOPUR products are suitable for use as a well foam:
OTTOPUR OP 950 can be used for insulation work in the cold winter months, since it does not require much moisture to cure and hardly depresses. However, it should be noted in the winter months that only the PU foam itself is to be moistened instead of the cavities, as otherwise the water freezes on the cold substrates and the foam does not cure.
Yes, as of August 24, 2023, appropriate training must be provided prior to industrial or commercial use of PU foams. Together with the members of the European Adhesives and Sealants Association (FEICA), we are committed to the safe use of PU foams.
