With the new FungiBlock+ technology, the OTTOSEAL® S 140 silicone sealant for hotels and spas features a new fungicidal protection system. The enhanced mold protection system, consisting of two different fungicides, is specifically designed for areas exposed to constant moisture and intensive use, as commonly encountered in hotels and spas.
The proven product properties, areas of application, and high OTTO quality remain unchanged.
The OTTO Window tape Vario and Vario Duo now feature improved UV resistance, making them more durable. Instead of the previous 50-meter roll, the OTTO Window tapes will now be available in a more practical 40-meter roll length. The new versions will be available starting in late September 2026, and the Vario Duo 100 mm (item number 6068100) will be available starting in December 2026

As part of our ongoing optimization of our product portfolio, we will be discontinuing the OTTOSEAL® P 300 PU sealant from our product lineup at the turn of the year 2026/27. For existing applications, OTTOSEAL® P 305 is available as a technically equivalent alternative product.

As a result, OTTOSEAL® P 305 offers an expanded testing and certification basis for demanding indoor and outdoor applications.
For applications in building construction and facade work, the OTTOSEAL® M 360 and OTTOSEAL® M 361 (with textured finish) hybrid sealants are also available.
In 2027, we will continue to transition additional products to recycled-plastic cartridges, bringing us closer to our goal of converting all technically suitable packaging by 2030. The gray cartridges are made of at least 50 percent recycled plastic. This reduces the use of virgin plastic and conserves valuable resources.
As part of the transition, the pictograms on the cartridges have also been redesigned to make the products even more self-explanatory. The proven product quality, technical properties, and application characteristics of the adhesives remain unchanged, of course.
These OTTOCOLL® adhesives will be available in recycled plastic cartridges in the future:

As part of a product line review, we will be focusing on our tried-and-true OTTO Joint Tape BG1 going forward. Consequently, the previous OTTO Insulation Tape BG2 will therefore be discontinued and will only be available while stocks last.
For you, this primary means: greater clarity when selecting products, as the OTTO Joint Tape BG1 replaces the previous OTTO Insulation Tape BG2 in most applications while simultaneously offering a technically superior solution.

In mid-2026, we will be discontinuing the PU sealant OTTOSEAL® P 720 from our product range. As a high-performance, safe and multi-purpose alternative, we recommend our hybrid sealants for building joints and connection joints.
With OTTOSEAL® M 360 / M 361, you have the access to modern and vertasile OTTO product alternatives that optimally meet current and future requirements in building construction.

With immediate effect, we are increasing the storage stability of our OTTOSEAL® S 27 food and drinking water silicone in 310 ml cartridges from 15 to 18 months. As usual, the binding best-before date is printed directly on the cartridge.

We regularly review our range for potential improvements in order to make the storage and use of our OTTO products as easy and efficient as possible for you, the user, while maintaining the usual high quality. We are therefore delighted to announce that we have been able to optimise our OTTOTAPE range.
OTTOTAPE E-40-I has been removed from the range and, at the same time, the possible applications of our OTTOTAPE D-25-I have been expanded. This means that you will be able to carry out all your applications with just one tape in future.
