The industry is increasingly using soft elastic materials, such as silicones, for electromechanical components that are exposed to strong vibrations or even temperature fluctuations during operation. In addition to excellent electric insulating properties, fire-resistant properties as well as thermal conductivity are also required here.
Sensitive electronic components require special protection from external influences, such as dust or mechanical loads. It's not a problem with our low viscosity silicone potting materials and gels! Thanks to the very good flow properties, these are ideal for the permanently elastic potting of undercuts and underflows of components, for example.
With its very good durable adhesion properties, our product range of 1-component and 2-component adhesives guarantees a permanently elastic bonding to the components. Our product range is also sure to have a product for your requirement, even for required temperature resistances up to 250°C.
Adhesives and potting materials are ideal for the production of electric motors. After all, temperatures of up to 250°C in the area around the motor are not a problem for our Novasil® products. These product solutions show their strengths in the thermal management of electric motors thanks to good thermal conductivity and fire resistance (UL-V0/UL-V1).
For bonding applications in the e-mobility sector, our Novasil® product range has 1-component and 2-component silicone adhesives, which impress with a quick material application and quick curing and ensure a secure bond.
Our low viscosity Novasil® potting materials ensure, among other things, permanent protection of battery cells and their surrounding components thanks to their optimal heat dissipation.
The permanently elastic bonding and potting allows for reliable protection of optics and electronic components from harsh ambient conditions. Our Novasil® adhesives, sealants and potting materials make significant contributions in keeping the IP protection of light sources stable in the long term. A high UV load, thermal alternating loads and harsh weather influences are compensated through permanently consistent product properties and a broad range of adhesion of our silicones.
Light housings usually consists of plastic, metal and glass. The adhesive used therefore perfectly bond to all materials, compensate for different physical properties and may not affect the materials themselves.
