Product details
The swimming pool silicone OTTOSEAL® S 18 is a special sealant that was developed specifically for applications in and around swimming pools. Thanks to its high resistance to the stress from chlorine and disinfectants and to mechanical stresses, as well as its high mould resistance, this sealant is perfect for joints in areas that are constantly wet. Not only on the edge of the pool, but also under water.

- Sealing of swimming pools and -baths as well as elastic jointing on the pool edges

- Contains extra fungicide
- Very high resistance to mould infestation
- Non-corrosive
- No (oxidation) corrosion on unprotected metal surfaces
- Very good adhesion on many substrates even without primer
- Often primerless processing possible, see primer table in technical data sheet
- Resistant to salt water and chlorine in the concentration required for swimming pool disinfection
- Longer renovation cycles
- Extremely resistant to continuously wet conditions
